I want to turn sound off in 1 window (game) and leave it one in another. How can I do that?

I like to play bejeweled 2 -- there doesn't seem to be a sound off option. I would like to be able to have internet radio on while I'm playing. Is there a way to do that? Thank you.I want to turn sound off in 1 window (game) and leave it one in another. How can I do that?
Vista has the sound mixer. Right click on the volume icon in the system tray (bottom right) and click open volume mixer. I am not sure if you can do this in xp, but click open volume control when you right click the sound button for xp.
If you are playing the full version of Bejeweled 2, there should definitely be an option to either mute the sound or change the volume (via a "slider") in the Options Menu.

For the online version, you can click on the Menu button while in a game and click on "Sounds On" toggle to turn them off.

If you are running Windows Vista (this is not in XP) you can use the "audio mixer" feature to adjust volume for individual programs. To enable it, get into your volume settings by clicking on the speaker/volume icon on your task tray (near the time display on the bottom right , and check the box labeled "audio mixer". Then the next time you open up volume properties, you should see sliders for each running application.I want to turn sound off in 1 window (game) and leave it one in another. How can I do that?
Try right clicking on the game itself. A drop down menu should appear and the option "adjust volume" should be there. It worked for me (my game uses Shockwave and I'm also running Pandora Internet Radio) Good LuckI want to turn sound off in 1 window (game) and leave it one in another. How can I do that?
